Cara Delevingne’s $7 million LA home goes up in flames while she’s in London

A major fire broke out at Cara Delevingne’s California mansion early Friday morning, Page Six has confirmed.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department told Page Six that the department received a call about a 650-square-foot, two-story home engulfed in flames at around 3:57 a.m. local time early Friday morning.

A spokesperson said they found a “major fire” near the rear of the property, with “one of the rooms completely destroyed”.

Page Six also spoke with a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, who added that the department responded to “population evacuation” and “traffic control” after receiving a report of the fire at 4:29 a.m. local time.

LAFD had already been on scene for several minutes overseeing the matter.

Delevingne, 31, was overseas in England at the time, playing the role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret at London’s Playhouse Theatre.

The Los Angeles Police Department told Page Six that the fire was a large-scale operation that took 94 firefighters a total of two hours and 60 minutes to extinguish. As a result, the roof of the house collapsed.

“One firefighter was injured and one crew member was taken to hospital for mild smoke inhalation,” the spokesperson added.

It was also said that the fire appeared to have started outside the house and eventually spread through the back room and into the attic.

However, a Los Angeles Police Department officer said there was “nothing to suggest any criminal activity.”

LAFD officials added, “At this time, there is no indication of arson or a criminal investigation.”
